By attending this event pictures will be taken of yourself and your children. They will be used for social media and marketing. If anyone objects to the children being photographed a bright armband should be put on them and then they will be recognised by the photographer not to take pics.
The Run:
There will be approximately 16,000 runners taking part on Sunday October 11th 2020 on a course of 13.1 miles round some of the most iconic sites of London!! Please see their website for some more detail: https://royalparkshalf.com/about-the-event/
The Cause:
Cure Cancer @ UCL is a Charity dear to our hearts, founded in 2011. We are a cancer charity working with the UCL Cancer Institute Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma Cancer Research Team. The funds raised by all our fantastic runners will go a long way to getting the latest essential piece of research equipment. The researchers at UCL Cancer Institute have requested the purchase of a Flow Cytometer at a cost of £100,000. We really need your support this year!
The Cost:
We ask that all our runners buy their spaces for £140 (as set by the Royal Parks Foundation) and then pledge to raise a minimum of £350 in sponsorship/donations for Cure Cancer @ UCL. If you would like to have one of our places let me know and your place will be confirmed by payment of the registration fee.
